| Visiting Kona from London in 1977, Lionel was so impressed he returned the following year and then decided to make his permanent home here. Now a 29 year resident, he says that was a lucky decision. A native of Dublin, Lionel had lived in other wonderful parts of the world – Chicago, Paris, Rabat, Johannesburg, New Zealand – and found the Big Island offered so much variety he could happily settle and enjoy. Active participation in the Kona community led him to better health. He started running, eventually the Honolulu marathon – and outrigger canoe paddling. The wealth of fun opportunities for community service in Kona soon gives a feeling of belonging. |

| From a consulting background in marketing research and advertising "in big cities", Lionel developed Ad Studio Kona – a novel service business back in the mid 1980’s. After ten years he sold the studio, changed to direct sales and now enjoys the responsibility of finding just the right home for people wanting to relocate in Kona and along the West side of the Big Island. He activated a dormant Hawaii real estate license in 2002, practiced in another respected, successful, local firm for 5 years - and was very proud to join Windermere's growing team early in 2007. |
